SOCIAL ART

Lived experience, collaboration and alternative production of knowledge are core themes in my practice and especially in the performative and social parts of the works I produce and take part in.

I am interested in alternatives to the aestethic tradition of the reasoning white male as the defining centre, so I am looking for useful approaches to to think, learn and communicate as art.The role of the artist is an important part of society and the artist needs to present options to the forcing norms that makes the base of the capitalist white supremacist system. Artists needs to work for the public and not for the art institutions, point the way towards a better future and a more relevant art scene.

Art is for everyone. Art is culture, thinking, relating, teaching and learning.
